Life is Good Award

I was tagged by Oddyoddyo at Dani’s Letters for the Life is Good Award! And, indeed it is!

This girl, Dani, has heart, and I’m so grateful to have gotten to know her. As part of this award, I need to answer the following questions, so. . .Enjoy!

What do you do when you’re bored?
Here are my go-to activities: reading, writing, being on the computer, watching my Tivo list, sewing, looking at Us Weekly, only sometimes scrapbooking.

Are you an autumn, or a spring?
Autumn

Quick! You’re stuck at an airport for hours, and the only options are crossword puzzle, or an old novel nobody’s ever heard of. Which would you pick?
The novel. For sure.

Jane Austen or Emily Bronte?
Ayn Rand

Do you feel prepared for the five other questions coming your way?
Bring them on.

Who’s your hero?
My mom. And Oprah.

Favorite word?
Peachfish (any Tom Robbins fans out there?)

Are you one of those “checklist” people, or are you a “wing it and hope everything goes well” sort of person?
Oooh, just the word “checklist” I like. Order and preparedness, yes.

What phrase has stuck with you in your life?
For crying out loud.

If you were to choose between coffee and tea. . . which would you go with?
Coffee all the way.

Here is this award for six others!
One Fine Wire - Courtney also has another blog site - One Fine Blog Design - she is in the midst of giving my blog a make-over and she has been awesome to work with!
Warsaw Mommy - I have recently discovered her and enjoy her blog greatly!
Baby and Sofia - A beautiful pretty-new mommy!
Diminishing Lucy - A bright spot in blog world!
Lamb Around - She is lots of fun!
Dry As Toast - Still laughing from her sex book reviews!

Loves it! I would definitely pick the novel as well, but I am a tea drinker through and through. Coffee just isn't for me. :)
We drank a bottle of wine tonight with dinner that made me think of you! It was a cheap bottle we picked up at Costco, but man, it was tasty!!

Its nice that you're excited he's coming home-sometimes its a relief to have a partner in crime (or at least someone else to change the diaper!). Just kidding.

Great answers by the way!

Oh aren't you a babe. I love this post and can identify with it a lot. And I love that award...so thank you! xx

OMG! Yeah! (chair dancing ensues).

What a lovely thing to get, most especially on a Monday morning as I drink my cup of coffee (COFFEE all the way, baby!).

Thanks, Kristy. I'll get this up right away ;)

And as for the husband: yeah, I like mine too. Although he is sometimes A Fucker. But then again, I imagine that at times, I am A Bitch.

Even-steven, boy.

I can completely relate (shocking, I know). We're kind of back into the survival mode right now though, learning how to manage with two! I do miss him when he's gone, but it's 50% because he's awesome and 50% because I'm freakin' exhausted!

Jumped over from Warsaw Mommy! Congrats on your award.

Welcome home to your hub. Mine doesn`t have business trips really BUT he does work insane hours sometimes (like coming home at 2am and leaving again at 8:30am) and sometimes even works overnight. Mine can be a fucker too but I am still glad I have him. And he buys me chocolate. So he is a winner!

Awww! I love my hubby too. I think I'll keep him the rest of forever, even if he did murder my azalea bushes...all 9 of them.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I'd love for you to try and join us for "OH NO HE DIDN'T!" Tuesday next week. It'll be fun! Have a great day.

Oh, yeah. I remember survival mode. I guess all marriages go through different seasons. Glad you're starting to really like him again. :)

My hero is Oprah too. There's something about being a billionaire that's very admirable. Plus, she gave birth to Dr. Phil.

Oh yeah!
My mom and Oprah are my heros too!

Oh, congrats on your award! And congrats to the recipients as well!

I agree that it's refreshing that you actually *like* hubby...that's not found as often these days.

Since you're reading the book, pass me that crossword puzzle...
