For example, it is a sign of affection in our family to “Give The Foot!”
When saying good night, I tell my son to “Give Daddy The Foot!”
Parker proudly lifts his foot in the air at my husband, and my husband does it back. Everyone laughs and smiles.
In the living room, sitting on the couch, while we’re chillin’ out, maxin’ and relaxin’, we spontaneously give The Foot to show we love each other.
Hey, Parker, show these people how we roll. Give them The Foot!
Feel the love. Get The Foot!

How odd, but cutely unique. Ellen, my stepdaughter and I had a question. Sabe uma coisa? (Portuguese) "Do you know something?" Her reply was always, "yeah, you love me" and she would ask me the same question for the same answer. Must post about that one day.
But I wouldn't go showing the foot in Thailand.Showing the sole of the feet is the height of insults...

I think things like this are the key to having a fun, close family. My kids are older now and they love all the weird things only we do!
